Dr. Stephannie L. Addo-Zuniga

 

Stephannie Addo is what you would call a ‘serial entrepreneur’. Not only does she strive to succeed at achieving her own business and life goals, she is on a mission to inspire and council other women to pursue their own dreams by overcoming the fears that may be holding them back. As a business coach, Stephannie offers consultation services to start and expand businesses or to help clientele succeed at cost-effectively branding themselves in their niche.

 

A veteran of the United States Army, Stephannie was the recipient of the Army Achievement Medal for her dedication to serving her country. She went on to study at Mercy College, majoring in Behavioral Science and Early Childhood Education. Stephannie opened Scholars of the Future Educational Center which serviced 100’s of children in the South Bronx area, and created a very structured and rigorous curriculum that made the children well advanced by the time they started Kindergarten.  For her dedicated service to children, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorates Degree from CICA University and Seminary.

 

Stephannie was mentored by CEO’s from the Nation’s Top Fortune 500 Companies through the University of Connecticut Entrepreneurs Bootcamp for Disabled Veterans. She was chosen out of 1,200 people to be a part of the mentoring program and went on to win the Most Innovative Pitch Award for her business presentation. Stephannie also received citations from Senator Bill Perkins, and US Congressman Charles Rangel for her dedication to help women military veterans through the La Femme Vet Network.

 

As a married mother of three, Stephannie became an Autism Advocate to honor her first-born child who was diagnosed at the age of 2, she went on to start a company called Champs For Autism which creates fun events for children with and without Autism to help create an inclusion environment, where all children feel empowered and encouraged. For her entrepreneurship, and dedication to making a difference in her community, Stephannie has been featured on many publications including the NY Post, PIX 11, Bronx Chronicles, and Bronxnet. She holds a NY State Real Estate License and became a Certified Distress Property Expert, offering counseling services to homeowners facing foreclosure.

 

As a child Stephannie began her life in Irvington, New Jersey. At the age of 11 years old, her family relocated to Bronx, NY. Stephannie has a vested interest in children and helping them gain as much exposure and knowledge needed to succeed in life. In the second grade was when Stephannie realized that she wanted to become a teacher and make a productive change in children's life. Furthermore, when she became older she soon realized that not only does she have a gift to reach children, but she has a gift to help adults and aspiring entrepreneurs in achieving their dreams. She follows the Ghandi quote that states "Be the Change that you wish to see in the World". Stephannie believes that every person should maximize their ability to achieve their dreams in life
